Prepare for Your Forest Therapy Walk

New Beginnings invites you on a quiet night time wander held under the new moon. When the sky turns dark, the world settles into a softer rhythm. Sounds deepen, trees breathe differently, and familiar paths feel new again. In a park inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood, we move gently through trees and open spaces. As we wander, notice what the land is like after sundown. Perhaps the coolness of the air, the way shadows rest, or the stillness that meets you. On this new moon night, something in you may be ready for a reset, for intention setting, or for a quiet beginning of its own.

What to Wear and Bring
• Wear what helps you feel comfortable and at ease in nature's presence. Light, breathable clothing and comfortable walking footwear are recommended.
• Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Refills are available at water coolers,.
• Sun and insect protection as you need (e.g. hat, sunscreen, insect repellent).
• A small sit mat or yoga mat, depending on whether you prefer to sit or lie down during moments of rest and reflection.
• Along the way, there will be places where you can set down your bag and personal belongings.
What to Expect
This is not a hike or a tour, but a gentle, guided experience. Through simple invitations, you'll be supported to slow down, notice with all your senses, and rest into the present moment. There will be space for quiet reflection, optional sharing and a simple closing at the end of our walk. Even though the walk is conducted at night, the paths along the route will be lighted.
Accessibility and Mobility
The walk will take place along well-paved park paths and gentle grass slopes. The pace will be gentle with frequent pauses to rest and notice. If you have any mobility, sensory or health consideration, feel free to let me know so I can attune the experience to your needs.
Weather
We walk in light rain; it can add a beautiful texture to the experience. In the event of heavy rain, lightning or haze concerns, you'll receive a text/email update at least 2 hours before the start. If it starts to rain midway, a shelter will always be nearby, within a short 2-5 minute walk.
